With five games in the books in the 2026 NFL season, trade deadline chatter is going to heat up as October rolls on. The deadline is set for Nov. 10. If the Cleveland Browns decide to sell, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is the player who sticks out the most as a trade candidate.

Jeudy signed a three-year, $52.5 million extension with the Browns in March 2024. Trading him would leave Cleveland with a minimal cap hit for the rest of the season and get his money off the books going forward. That alone makes him an obvious name to watch over the next few weeks.

Jerry Jeudy’s value has dropped off since his Pro Bowl season

Jeudy’s best year in Cleveland came in 2024. He racked up 1,229 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 17 games, which earned him the only Pro Bowl nod of his NFL career.

The production has slipped considerably since then. Jeudy finished last season with 602 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Through five games, he has eight catches for 81 yards, which works out to roughly 16 yards per game.

That decline matters when it comes to what the Browns can get in return. Cleveland isn’t going to land more than a late Day 2 to early Day 3 selection for Jeudy. With that in mind, here are three trade packages he could fetch ahead of the deadline, built through the A to Z Sports NFL trade simulator.

3 trade packages the Browns could consider for Jeudy

Kansas City Chiefs

The first deal sends Jeudy to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2028 third-round pick. Cleveland likely would have only been able to get a fourth-round pick in 2027 from Kansas City, so the Browns instead opt to take the 2028 third-rounder. More importantly, the move gets Jeudy’s money off the books for the final two years of his deal.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs could use more help at wide receiver, and Jeudy gives them a capable route runner. On Cleveland’s end, the trade opens the door for a player like Isaiah Bond to see more snaps.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks offer a similar package. The Browns would receive a 2028 third-round pick, passing on a 2027 selection to get the better round.

Seattle could use another pass-catching weapon alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba in a Sam Darnold-led offense. It’s another realistic outcome for Cleveland if the market plays out that way.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders need receiver help as well. In this deal, the Raiders send the Browns a 2027 fourth-round pick, projected as the 14th pick of the round, in exchange for Jeudy. The trade simulator grades it as a fair deal that edges Cleveland by seven points.

This version gives the Browns a pick to work with in 2027, which should be a strong draft overall. However, Cleveland would miss out on the third-round value it could potentially get by waiting until 2028.

Browns should take a third-rounder if it’s on the table

Overall, I believe the Browns should take a third-round pick for Jeudy if they can get one, whether it comes in the 2027 or 2028 draft. Even a fourth-rounder would be worth considering.

Cleveland gave up a 2024 fifth-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick to acquire Jeudy from the Denver Broncos in March 2024. He delivered a Pro Bowl season in return, which made that trade well worth it for the Browns.

The situation looks different now. Cleveland’s wide receiver room is in a better spot, led by a pair of rookies in KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Flipping Jeudy for a mid-round pick would add another draft asset while clearing room for the young pass catchers to grow.

Finding the right trade partner is going to be key over the next few weeks. Time will tell whether a contender bites before Nov. 10.
