The Tennessee Volunteers are heading to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, December 21 in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

And one soon-to-be-former Vol player likes their chances.

WR Kaleb Webb, who announced last week that he's entering the transfer portal, put up a post on his Instagram account in response to the school's announcement of the game, and he sees a big game coming from his former quarterback.

Clearly, Webb is leaving with no ill will towards either the Tennessee program or Nico Iamaleava.  Indeed, often times players leave simply for a better opportunity elsewhere.  That doesn't mean they were leaving on bad terms.  That appears to be the case with Webb.

It will be interesting to see Tennessee's game plan against the Buckeyes.  It should be freezing temperatures in Columbus that evening, and it will likely be a game that Tennessee wins in the trenches with its imposing defensive front and a run game that travels well.

However, Tennessee will still need some big throws from their young quarterback if they're going to escape with a win.  And it's clear that one of his former wideouts will be rooting for him to deliver just that.
