Authorities provide details on scary incident at Bills’ new stadium site
The Buffalo Bills are front and center in the national news for something that has nothing to do with football. While fans are eagerly waiting for the construction of the new stadium, authorities have confirmed a chilling incident.
Allegedly, a naked man under the influence of drugs had fallen 30 feet into the hole. A scary site as this could've ended in disaster as a fall from 30 feet, while under the influence of drugs, could've resulted in serious injury or even a fatality.
According to Matthew Bove on X, the Erie County Sheriff's office had to rescue a man who had fallen into the hole at the new stadium site yesterday. The suspect was allegedly naked and under the influence of a myriad of drugs including LSD and marijuana. Allegedly, the suspect had climbed a fence and then fallen into the hole before being transported to the hospital
Kristen Mirand from WKBW furthered on the incident, claiming that the call came in around 12:18 and within 20 minutes the man was taken to the hospital. The Bills Mafia got a little boost with the update as it's been reported that they were the "best behaved crowd" as reported by Mirand on the sheriff's comments.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office held a press conference to discuss the events. Thankfully, the first responders were there before tragedy struck. The man was charged with trespassing and is currently at Buffalo General
As more information becomes available, we will update this story.
