Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell offered up a bunch of injury updates after the Lions had six players go down in their win over the Minnesota Vikings. Here’s what we know:

Jack Campbell, neck

Campbell said that he could not and would not offer any additional updates on Jack Campbell outside of the Lions’ press release and the fact that he did say that his family was in good spirits at the hospital last night.

This is the Lions’ statement:

“Jack Campbell continues to rest and recover at a local hospital. Preliminary indications are positive and out of respect for Jack and his family we will not share further information at this time.”

Jacob Saylors, neck

Campbell said that he doesn’t see Saylors practicing on Wednesday. He called it “a little something.” Saylors did come back into the game on Sunday before going back out.

Jimmy Rolder, hamstring

Campbell says Rolder’s season is over, and he may require surgery. A major bummer since Rolder had a big game on Sunday with a sack and a tackle for loss. It’s been a rough rookie season for him after dealing with an injury that kept him out of most of training camp and really stunted his growth.

Brian Branch, concussion protocol

Branch is in concussion protocol after his collision with D.J. Wonnum on Sunday.

D.J. Wonnum, concussion protocol

Campbell confirmed that Wonnum is in concussion protocol. He had this to say on what looked to be more severe than Branch’s concussion:

“I wouldn’t say it was any better, any worse than, you know, a concussion anybody else has had. Really, so I can’t really swing one way or another for you there.”

Cade Mays, ankle

Campbell said he doesn’t see Mays practicing on Wednesday. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the injury is a low ankle sprain.

D.J. Reed, hip

Campbell said he does not see Reed practicing on Wednesday. The Lions need him back on Sunday since he’s been playing elite football and has been Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded cornerback over the last three weeks.
