It’s a lot to digest here: A Wednesday game, on Thanksgiving Eve, and on Netflix. It will certainly be a unique experience for Packers fans.

According to the Packers’ website, it’s just the second time in franchise history the team will play on a Wednesday. The other was on Sept. 28, 1938, against the Chicago Cardinals in Buffalo.

The Packers will have no international games this season. And because of the NFL rotation since adopting a 17-game schedule, the team is set to have nine games at Lambeau Field, with only eight road games.

Those are two extremely important factors. Moreover, the Packers are the third team in the entire league with the fewest miles traveled throughout the year. The schedule is somewhat favorable so far — now, it’s a matter of how much the order will affect the team’s outcome this upcoming season.
