The Miami Dolphins‘ offensive line aspires to be one of the strengths of the entire roster this season. The unit is well-invested in. Patrick Paul and Aaron Brewer are standouts, while youngsters Jonah Savaiinaea and Kadyn Proctor look to make a big splash as young talents.

This unit will almost assuredly be churned along with the rest of the roster as the summer camp plays itself out. And that process may be starting as early as this week, per a report from the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson. The Dolphins are reportedly set to host free agent guard Michael Mokofisi for a workout tomorrow.

Miami Dolphins reportedly set to host Michael Mokofisi for a workout

Mokofisi’s journey through Utah saw him start 46 out of 50 game appearances for the Utes. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft amid a foot injury that prevented him from posting workout numbers at his Pro Day in the spring. But the redshirt senior collected north of 2,800 career snaps at the college level, nearly all of them coming at right guard.

Perhaps most interesting? He was a defensive tackle in high school before making the switch full-time to the offensive line. He’s since gone on to earn multiple All-Conference honorable mentions, including 2023 and 2025. There is, perhaps, some developmental upside to tap into here.

That’s the name of the game for the Miami Dolphins right now. Finding skill sets worth investing in and hoping that players make the most of their opportunities. Mokofisi will hope to impress enough to try to be next.
