Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts owes the league some money.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Hurts has been fined $16,391 for a horse collar tackle in the Eagles' Christmas Day win over the New York Giants. 

It's rare for a quarterback to have been fined for a tackle, but this one happened when Hurts was picked off by cornerback Adoree’ Jackson. Hurts responded by chasing Jackson down and grabbing his collar while tossing him to the ground, though Jackson was already in the end zone, logging a pick-six.

The Eagles ended up winning 33-25. 

It's never fun to have to pay a fine, but I think Hurts' $255 million contract extension that he signed in April can handle this one.
