Tom Brady is all over the place after retiring from the NFL, and his team-up with Fanatics Live only adds to the list of ventures he’s dived into since 2022.

Brady and Fanatics’ latest venture, titled “The Great QB Chase”, is a unique event featuring the seven-time Super Bowl champ as he hunts for his rookie card by opening a 2000 Bowman Chrome box. The box contains 24 packs of cards and is valued at over $10,000.

In other words: there are no small potatoes here.

The event will be live-streamed on Monday, Nov. 2, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET, and fans can bid on each 2000 Bowman Chrome pack starting at $1. Purchase-type spots are auctioned one by one in real time. Each spot gives you a team or player — sometimes you choose, other times it’s assigned randomly. When all spots are taken, the break begins. The breaker will rip packs live on stream. Cards are revealed one by one, with suspense around rare hits or chase cards. Any cards tied to your spot are yours. After the final pack is opened, cards will be sorted, packaged, and shipped to buyers.

They’ll also open boxes of 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2024 product to chase other QB rookie hits, including Drew Brees, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Jordan Love, Justin Herbert, Fernando Mendoza, Jaxson Dart & many more. Bids for this break start at $225.

They’ll also give away $10,000 worth of memorabilia. To enter giveaways using the built-in chat feature, you will need a Fanatics One account.

The reveal centers on Brady’s CardVault Breaks.

“CardVault by Tom Brady is the premier destination for sports cards, TCG, collectibles, and memorabilia. Founded in partnership with seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady, CardVault combines the excitement of collecting with an elevated retail experience for hobbyists and fans alike.“

It’s a great opportunity for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans to join in, win prizes, and even submit questions for Brady to answer as he hunts for his rookie card.

Buccaneers fans have an exclusive opportunity to reminisce with the best quarterback in franchise history

Brady’s legacy in Tampa Bay is undeniable. He not only ended years of misery for the Buccaneers and their fans, but also brought the franchise its second Super Bowl win in his first year behind center.

After a 7-5 start, the Buccaneers went on to win eight straight games (including all three playoff games and the Super Bowl) before earning their second Lombardi. Brady was sensational that year, finishing with 4,633 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

But it didn’t stop there. Brady led the Buccaneers for two more seasons, winning two division titles (the 2021 title was the team’s first since 2007) and making a strong case for MVP after leading the NFL in passing yards (5,316) and passing touchdowns (43) in 2021.

Tom Brady’s career stats with the Buccaneers

Brady was signed as a free agent during the 2020 offseason and immediately turned the Buccaneers around. Below are his stats from 2020-2022 and where they rank in franchise history:

  • Passing yards: 14,643 (3rd)
  • Passing touchdowns: 108 (2nd)
  • QB rating: 98.1 (1st)
  • Wins: 32 (3rd)
  • Game-winning drives: 13 (t-2nd)
  • Playoff record: 5-2 (includes Super Bowl LV victory)

So, hop on the live stream on Nov. 2 at 3:00 p.m. ET for a chance to go down memory lane with Brady and bask in the nostalgia of arguably the most successful Buccaneers era in franchise history.

Sounds like a no-brainer. We’ll see you there!
