Jahri Evans to remain on staff
According to reports, Jahri Evans will be on Kellen Moore's coaching staff. His specific role is currently unknown, but he was labeled as an offensive assistant last season.
Evans has now been around the organization for going on three years. He's incredibly well-respect inside the building and perceived as a potential positional coach, at the least, during his future.
After serving as a training camp intern in 2022, Jahri Evans begins his full-time coaching career in 2023 as an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints.
Not to mention, fans have been asking if he will be retained by Kellen Moore and his new assistants. Now, they have their answer, and it is a positive one.
Expect Evans to continue working with a focus on the offensive line in New Orleans.
For Evans, he will continue to build his coaching resumé following a fantastic NFL career. He was a consistent OL force for the Saints and resides in their franchise's Ring of Honor.
Evans was a five-time All-Pro selection, a six-time Pro Bowler, and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2010’s All-Decade Team. He also won the Super Bowl in 2009 with New Orleans.
Another offensive assistant, Jordan Traylor, will be retained by Moore as well, according to Mike Triplett. He was the QBs coach at the Senior Bowl this year and received some interest from Sean Payton this offseason.
