Country music star Brian Kelley, one-half of the music group Florida Georgia Line, keeps getting confused with LSU Tigers head coach Brian Kelly.

Unsurprisingly, it's because of the name, not because of appearances.

"The [direct messages] I have been getting this year from people who think I am this Brian Kelly LOL," wrote Kelley on Instagram.

"Can't believe what you've done to LSU," jokingly responded former NFL offensive lineman Taylor Lewan.

Kelly (the coach) has led the LSU Tigers to a 7-4 record this season, which includes losses to USC and Florida.

Some fans in Baton Rouge are growing inpatient with Kelly, who was hired to replace Ed Orgeron with the expectation that the Tigers would soon be competing for national championships again.

Instead, LSU has been only slightly above average during Brian Kelly's three seasons at the helm. Given that the last three head coaches at LSU all won national championships, being merely "above average" isn't going to cut it.

And it sounds like Brian Kelley (the singer) has heard all of the complaints that have been mistakenly sent his way.
