They say that every time you go to a baseball game you'll likely see something that you've never seen happen before.

Well, after the way the Oklahoma Sooners' matchup against the Auburn Tigers started on Saturday, we might have to start saying the same thing about college football games. 

Prior to kickoff on Saturday, an Auburn cheerleader performed a series of backflips in the middle of the field and inadvertently crossed paths with the entire Oklahoma football team. 

One of the Sooners players took a direct hit from the cheerleader who was in mid flip.

I'm pretty certain I've never seen that before in a football game. 

Fortunately, it appears no one was seriously hurt. But I bet both the player and the cheerleader will be a little more alert during pre-game situations in the future.
