Ohio State has had a strong season and it has resulted in them being the No. 2 team in the country at this point. The Buckeyes’ lone blemish was a one-point loss to Oregon on the road in a game that Ohio State had a chance to win in the final seconds.

Since then, the Buckeyes have rolled through their schedule, including a win over the Penn State Nittany Lions. Just Oregon is ahead of Ohio State in the College Football Playoff rankings, and the Buckeyes will have a chance to avenge their loss against them if they can win their next two games against Indiana and Michigan.

In what will be a surprise to many, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is really high on the Buckeyes right now.

"I think Ohio State's the best team in the country," Finebaum said recently on The Paul Finebaum Show. "It could change, but right now it hasn't."

Finebaum hasn’t always been high on Ohio State, in fact, he has come for Ryan Day on more than one occasion. As of right now though, the Buckeyes’ strong performances on both sides of the football don’t offer much negative to talk about.

Everything still remains in front of Ohio State and at 9-1 on the season they haven’t accomplished a single goal yet. Beating Michigan for the first time in three years would be a start. Then, the Buckeyes want to be Big Ten champs and go on to win the College Football Playoff. First the Buckeyes have to take care of a very good Hoosiers team

Day and the Buckeyes have fallen short on these goals lately, this year is a great chance to make it happen with the roster they have.
