Oklahoma Sooners will be the first team to see a change one of their SEC rivals is making for that game specifically

The Oklahoma Sooners are much more of a traditional program, especially when it comes to football. For other sports, they will sometimes do really cool things. But for football, if they make an alternate uniform, it's usually to signify something of the past or a part of Oklahoma history.
Not every program is like that, which is completely fine. There are pros and cons to both. However, one school that has, let's just say, been donned as the "Oregon of the SEC," is probably Ole Miss. That game is scheduled for Saturday, October 26. And for the Sooners, they will be the first team to see one of Ole Miss' new helmets. The Rebels revealed them, and they were pretty nice — a two-tone blue camouflage.
But this post is not about Ole Miss, this is about the Sooners being the first team to play them in those. This is also about the Sooners' ability to upset the Rebels and their fan base on a day when they want to look great and stylish. The Sooners can ruin that day.
The Rebels are currently ranked No. 5 and are certainly one of the best teams in the country. By the time the two meet, who knows what will be going on, for both teams.

One of the most productive players to enter the spring transfer portal is closing in on where he'll play his senior season in 2024. First-Team Al-Conference USA defensive tackle Chris Hardie has 14 sacks over the last two seasons. Ole Miss and Oklahoma are targeting Hardie in hopes of beefing up their defensive line. Chris […]
