The Indianapolis Colts are led in receptions by WR Michael Pittman Jr. this season.

And even more impressive, he has more games this. season with 8+ receptions in a game than any other player in the NFL.

Pittman Jr. has recorded eight or more receptions in seven of the Colts ten games this season. He has 66 receptions for 677 yards and three touchdowns. This puts him on pace to record:

  • 112 receptions, 1,150 yards, 5 touchdowns

He's on pace to set a career-high in receptions and receiving yards. Pittman Jr.'s career to date has been affected by a revolving door at QB, and he is now in the last year of his rookie contract. The Colts are now seeing him have a career year and will have to decide this offseason whether to extend him or use the franchise tag for the first time since 2013 (Pat McAfee).

Pittman Jr. will continue to be a massive part of the team's offense for the foreseeable future, as I don't envision them letting him walk out their door anytime soon, The team now enters their bye week and have multiple things to clean up before their Week 12 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and while Pittman Jr's play isn't one of them, I could see them using him even more to aid QB Gardner Minshew who is struggling as of late.
