The Baltimore Ravens have so far ruled out just one player from their upcoming matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Baltimore has listed linebacker Odafe Oweh as out for Week 6 due to his nagging ankle injury.
Oweh has been sidelined since he suffered the ankle injury during Baltimore’s road win over the Cincinnati Bengals last month. He ended up leaving Paycor Stadium in a walking boot.
Oweh has since not been cleared to practice with the Ravens. For one, he did not take part in any of Baltimore’s three practice sessions this week.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is at the least hopeful that Oweh will soon make his long-awaited return to practice.
"He's on point," Harbaugh said during a press conference on Friday. "He's been working really hard. It's a process with that kind of an ankle sprain, and when he's ready to go, he will be ready.
"It's kind of getting in that neighborhood now, so we'll see how he feels."
Overall, Oweh has tallied four quarterback hits and three total tackles this season.
For now, the Ravens will continue to call on the likes of Jadeveon Clowney and Kyle Van Noy to lead their pass rush in Oweh’s absence.
