It didn't take long for Bill Belichick to figure out what he's doing next.
After 24 years as head coach of the New England Patriots, he and the team mutually parted ways after the 2023 season. But with his immense football knowledge, no one wanted to see him completely leave the game or the league.
And it's official: he's sticking around. But instead of on the field, he's taking his talents to television.
The NFL announced that Belichick will be joining Ryan Clark, Chris Long, and Chad Johnson as an analyst this season on "Inside the NFL," which returns August 30 at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
“I'm thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise," Belichick said in a statement. “I've always appreciated 'Inside the NFL's' depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros – Ryan (Clark), Chris (Long) and Chad (Johnson) – this coming season."
And the network is beyond excited to have a future Hall of Fame coach join the program.

"Inside the NFL" has episodes evert Friday during the football season, providing fans with a look at the games ahead along with hearing what the experts have to say. Oh and not to mention "pivotal game action captured by NFL Films' legendary cinematographers and exclusive all-access “mic'd up" audio."
Belichick most recently joined Pat McAfee during the 2024 NFL Draft, providing some crucial and important analysis of all the top picks. And he is set to have a recurring role with the Manning Brother on ESPN’s 'Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli.'
