The New England Patriots have provided a new update following Isaiah Bolden's scary collision on Saturday.
Bolden was loaded onto a stretcher and carted off after colliding with teammate Calvin Munson and appeared to suffer an apparent head injury.
"Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden sustained an injury during the fourth quarter of tonight’s game. He had feeling in all his extremities, but has been taken to a local hospital for further tests and observation," the Patriots announced on Twitter.
The entire team huddled together, along with some Packers players, praying for their teammate.
While this was happening, Bill Belichick stood with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur along with the officials and Patriots captain Matthew Slater.
After a long discussion they decided to suspend the game.
Following the initial update, the Patriots posted another a little bit later.
"Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden will be held overnight at a local hospital in Green Bay for observation. To set expectations, we plan to provide an update on his condition by 8 a.m. on Sunday," they wrote on Twitter.
Bolden was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. A cornerback out of Jackson State, Bolden is looking to compete for a spot on the active roster.
