Hype is always a rollercoaster. At times, NFL players are looked at like icons. Other times, they are quickly considered busts. For Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, his first year in the pros made Sean Payton and co. look incredibly smart for drafting him in round done of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bo Nix ranked 64th by players in NFL Top 100

The NFL Top 100 list is always a strong offseason conversation. For the Broncos, their young QB got a ton of respect from his peers. Bo Nix was ranked the 64th-best player in the league.

Denver has found its long-term answer at quarterback with Nix. The 2024 No. 12 overall pick was composed as a rookie from the beginning of the season to the end, executing Sean Payton’s playbook like a veteran QB. Nix led Denver to a playoff spot for the first time since the club won Super Bowl 50, and there’s plenty to look forward to in Year 2 and beyond. He might not have won Offensive Rookie of the Year, but he made his first Top 100 appearance to close out his memorable campaign. — NFL.com

Clearly, Nix has garnered respect quickly. The top 100 players list is voted on by players themselves, so the young QB has made an impact on his foes and teammates incredibly fast, considering some of the guys he's ahead of and around on the rankings.

Nix is ahead quarterbacks like Jordan Love and Dak Prescott, both of which would come at a much higher price than the young starter due to contract extensions. The value for Denver on their offense is notable since they can focus on paying weapons or lineman for now.

Last season, the Broncos quarterback totaled 3,775 passing yards, 29 pass touchdowns, and twelve interceptions. He's also a threat on the ground as well. Nix ran for 430 yards and four TDs last season. He will look to build on it for Sean Payton's squad this year.
