Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are losing another 2026 commit following a big SEC win.

Last week, the Bulldogs lost four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle after taking down the Auburn Tigers. Toodle flipped his decision from Georgia to his hometown school of Auburn.

This week, after the Dawgs beat No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels at home, three-star edge Corey Howard has changed his mind and is committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Howard, a Valdosta, GA native, is ranked No. 693 nationally, the No. 83 defensive lineman, and the No. 76 player in Georgia, per composite rankings. He originally committed to the Bulldogs back in June, but has now changed course with early national signing day just a couple of months away.

With Howard out of the picture, the Bulldogs have just 4-star Khamari Brooks as the only edge commit for their class of 2026.
