How to watch Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Pitt Panthers: Marcus Freeman and the Irish aim to pass their biggest remaining test
How to watch, stream, and listen to the Notre Dame battle against the Pitt Panthers.
Notre Dame football has a very important three-game stretch remaining for the 2025 college football season. If head coach Marcus Freeman and the Fighting Irish are able to win out, they will earn themselves a place in the College Football Playoffs. It starts this weekend, when the team travels to take on the Pitt Panthers. Pat Narduzzi’s squad is the biggest remaining test for the Irish, and this game will end up making-or-breaking their playoff chances.
For all the Notre Dame fans out there, you can bet that those anxious feelings are already beginning. On paper, Notre Dame should win this game, and pretty handily if they play their best football. It will be up to the likes of CJ Carr, Jeremiyah Love, and the other Irish stars to determine what type of statement they can make on Saturday. Here is how the Irish fanbase can tune into the game against Pitt this weekend.

My prediction is that Notre Dame does indeed make a statement this weekend. With so much pressure on this team heading into the matchup, they will need to be ready to weather the early storm in an away environment. Here is how I see this game playing out, including my official score prediction.
Notre Dame 31, Pittsburgh 10
Pitt freshman quarterback Mason Heintschel has injected their offense and team with some confidence since he took over as the starter. The Panthers are riding a five-game winning streak, led by an offense that averages just under 40 points per game. Even if head coach Pat Narduzzi wants to pretend like this game isn’t important, I don’t buy it. Notre Dame will have to be ready to play and weather the storm of being on the road in a College Gameday environment early on.
