The Philadelphia Eagles will be back on the gridiron, gathered as a team for the first time in 2026. Taking on a Ravens squad that has some good signs coming out of camp under new head coach Jesse Minter, the beginning of the exhibition season should be fun for the Birds.

What to look for

While there has been no official word on his status, it seems unlikely that rookie wide receiver and first-rounder Makai Lemon will play on Saturday. He’s dealt with a lingering hamstring injury throughout camp, and the Eagles want him primed for the big show come Week 1.

However, one of Howie’s gems, Uar Bernard, who has been impressive in training camp, should get some decent burn as the Eagles aim to mold his raw athleticism into a true defensive lineman.

And of course, new OC Sean Mannion will get his first shot at calling plays in a game in front of fans. It will be interesting to see how things unfold.
