The biggest game of Week 3 is easily the LSU Tigers’ road matchup against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Both teams have College Football Playoff aspirations, so it’s an important game.

But the reason this game is getting so much attention, of course, is because it’s the return of Lane Kiffin to Ole Miss after leaving Oxford to become the new head coach at LSU.

It should be one of the most insane college football environments we’ve ever seen.

And unsurprisingly, everyone has some thoughts on how the game will play out.

Former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops made his predictions for some of the biggest games of the week.

And he has Ole Miss beating LSU.

“That’s going to be a heck of a game,” said Stoops. “It’s two really good teams and good quarterbacks. And good coaching on both sides. Being that it’s at Ole Miss, I’m going to go with Ole Miss. Those players and that team, I think they’re going to rise to the occasion and play well.”

Stoops added that his brother (Mike Stoops) is on staff at Ole Miss, so he feels obligated to pick the Rebels.

“I just like the home team at Ole Miss,” said Stoops. “And plus my brother is there, Mike, you gotta root for him.”

We’ll see what happens on Saturday night. Both teams should have plenty of juice for this one.
