Kansas City Chiefs’ inactive players list for Week 2 vs. Indianapolis Colts looks very familiar and spells good news for two starters
The Kansas City Chiefs have revealed their inactive players ahead of Week 2 kickoff vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactive players ahead of their Week 2 tilt against the Indianapolis Colts on “Sunday Night Football.”
LT Josh Simmons and S Chamarri Conner have been ruled out for the second consecutive week. That said, the Chiefs made a handful of other inactive decisions, with a full seven players inactive for the game. Remember, only 48 players can be active on game day. For the second consecutive week, both of the Chiefs’ practice squad elevations are active.

Chiefs DT Chris Jones, CB Mansoor Delane active after entering Week 2 with questionable game status designations
The Chiefs are trotting out the same list of inactive players for Week 2 as they did in Week 1. Despite some uncertainty around both Jones and Delane heading into Week 2 vs. the Colts, both will be active for the game. That’s big news for a Chiefs defense that looked exceptional in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. Delane had an interception on the third play of his NFL career. Jones didn’t have to carry the load himself on the defensive line, with R Mason Thomas, Peter Woods, and Felix Anudike-Uzomah looking very capable.
The Colts’ Week 2 inactive players list also looks quite similar to Week 1. The main difference? Ashton Dulin has been ruled out. He’ll be replaced by WR Anthony Gould, who was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday night.
