The Texas A&M Aggies need a rebound in a hostile environment against Eli Drinkwitz’s red-hot Tigers. Who comes out on top in Columbia?

The Texas A&M Aggies will travel to Columbia, Missouri, to take on the No. 14 Missouri Tigers at noon ET Saturday. Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz has his team playing extremely high-level football. The Tigers are coming off a dominant performance last week against the Florida Gators.

For Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko, the situation looks much different. The Aggies are reeling a good bit and have played poor football over the last couple of weeks. They’re hoping for a massive rebound against a ranked SEC opponent on the road.

With the help of some of my colleagues at A to Z Sports, we put together final score predictions for the Texas A&M at Missouri matchup. That includes some players to watch and key storylines to consider. Here is how our staff sees things playing out.

The first score prediction comes from Justin Churchill of A to Z Sports Oklahoma.

Missouri is rolling right now. Their win last week against one of the country’s better teams should have them rolling with momentum. Meanwhile, the Aggies just beat good old Arkansas. In all seriousness, Missouri has a way to score points and score them in bunches, but it all depends on what version of Austin Simmons shows up. He can be prone to making mistakes, but oftentimes the defenses he’s playing don’t take advantage. I have Missouri’s high-powered offense getting this win as Texas A&M continues to try and figure out who they’re going to be in the future.

Final score prediction: Missouri 28, Texas A&M 21

Next up is Rob Gregson of A to Z Sports Alabama, who also likes the Tigers at home.

Missouri put it on the Florida Gators last week, showing that they have some physical maulers at the point of attack in the run game, with Austin Simmons playing one of the better games of his college career. This is a game that should have had more luster based on preseason evaluations, but Texas A&M has fallen flat on face with 2 losses in its first 5 games of the season. Marcel Reed and the offense have struggled, and the vibes around the program are not very good right now. Missouri would be undefeated right now if Kamario Taylor didn’t exist, and the Tigers’ style of play is one that travels and one that can wear a team down when at home. The momentum being built in Missouri alongside a home field advantage propels the Tigers on this one.

Final score prediction: Missouri 25, Texas A&M 22

Tyler Forness, A to Z Sports Florida

Tyler Forness of A to Z Sports Florida watched the Tigers handle the Gators up close. Here is his take.

If you aren’t on the Austin Simmons train yet, it’s time to board. He has the juice to be an NFL starting quarterback. All season, Simmons has been torching defenses with high-level throws, and that isn’t showing any sign of stopping. Plus, the Tigers destroyed the Gators with 3- and 4-man pass rushers. That is not great news for Marcel Reed, who isn’t a very good quarterback in his own right. I don’t see Reed figuring it out anytime soon, and Missouri continues to thrive in the SEC.

Final score prediction: Missouri 27, Texas A&M 16

Craig Smith, A to Z Sports Miami

Craig Smith of A to Z Sports Miami has the most lopsided prediction of the group.

Boy, how the perception of these teams has changed. A&M came into the season fresh off its first playoff appearance with Marcel Reed back under center. After offensive disasters and double-digit losses to Kentucky and LSU, the Aggies’ last stand comes in Columbia against a Missouri team that just went from a token top-25 team in many folks’ minds to a potential SEC sleeper after destroying Florida 45-17. I just can’t trust A&M’s broken offense right now, but I sure do trust Missouri wide receiver Cayden Lee right now, perhaps as much as anybody. After racking up 156 and 110 yards— 110-yard receiving performances against Mississippi State and Florida respectively- he cracks the 100-yard mark once again. As the Tigers leap out front and maintain control throughout.

Final score prediction: Missouri 38, Texas A&M 26

Ryan Roberts, A to Z Sports Notre Dame

I’ll be the outlier of the group. I’m picking the upset here.

There’s no question that Texas A&M is not a complete football team. The Aggies have played poor football throughout the 2026 season, and I understand why my colleagues are fading them. However, I think Missouri is playing a little bit above its head right now. Quarterback Austin Simmons is due for a bit of a reality check, even at home.

Texas A&M still has a lot of talent on offense, including wide receiver Mario Craver. The Aggies also have some defenders who can make a difference in this one.

While I don’t trust Marcel Reed as the starting quarterback, I believe he does enough with his legs to propel the Aggies to a victory. If Reed can extend plays and keep the Tigers’ pass rush honest, this game could look much different than the consensus expects.

I have the Aggies pulling off the upset in Columbia.

Final score prediction: Texas A&M 27, Missouri 23
