The Oklahoma Sooners killed it with their last two recruiting classes, meaning the class that we've seen this season on the field, and the 2025 class, which we will see next season, with hopefully plenty of freshmen being good enough to play.

But, the Sooners have lost a few recruits, guys who have committed to the university, the last few weeks. Two of those guys were defensive linemen, specifically defensive tackles at the high school level.

Floyd Boucard, a four-star defensive tackle from the Miami, Florida area, was initially committed to the Sooners. Then he decommitted. Defensive tackle Ka'Mori Moore decommitted after Boucard. That's fine, as that happens often, and both knew that they likely wouldn't play much as freshmen.

However, now Boucard has announced his new future home as a freshman in college. He is now committed to the University of Southern California. That's not a rivalry team or anything, it's just the Sooners fan base now hates their head coach.

Lincoln Riley took over at USC, where he made at best a lateral move at the time from Oklahoma. Many fans were upset because they feared he left due to being scared of joining the SEC. However, his reasoning, which could be true, was that the USC job was the next big opportunity for him and his family.

So, today, the Sooners fan base still holds a grudge against Riley. Now, Riley lands a former Sooner commit.
