After the latest update on Derek Carr's injury, the possibility of taking a QB early in the draft feels much higher. Betting odds would agree, and that sentiment grows on social media, according to many NFL analysts.
Deion Sanders teases Saints' pick
The Colorado Buffaloes head coach and father of Shedeur Sanders, a top QB prospect in the 2025 class, used the classic eyeballs emoji after seeing a post about the Saints' ninth pick. The Saints are currently the favorites to pick Sanders.
Of course, this post from the NFL legend only stirs the pot for the hype around New Orleans' selection. They may not select a QB, but it is hard to imagine them not addressing the position early on somehow because of Carr's injury.
