It's officially tournament time for the Tennessee Vols.

Tennessee finished the 2024-25 regular season on Saturday with a hard-fought win against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Vols are the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament, which means Tennessee won't play until Friday afternoon in Nashville.

Rick Barnes' squad will play either Vanderbilt, Texas, or Texas A&M on Friday (the winner of Wednesday's game between Vanderbilt and Texas will play against Texas A&M on Thursday….the winner of that game will then play the Volunteers on Friday).

With the SEC Tournament being played in Nashville this year, Barnes is expecting to see plenty of orange in the crowd at Bridgestone Arena.

"I hope it's not a neutral-site," said Barnes on Saturday in regards to playing the SEC Tournament in Nashville. "I'm hoping Nashville is all a sea of Volunteers when we're there. Again, I want to thank our fan base for today (Senior Day). I didn't know how this would turn out going into the game. Our fan base showed their support again. It's just really unbelievable.

"But I shouldn't be surprised because we've got the best fan base in the country. You get to tournament play, you hope that, again, we expect our fans to be with us and we want to play and certainly we don't want to disappoint them."

Tennessee should be the most well-represented team in Nashville next week. We'll see if Vols fans can deliver (as they usually do).

If Tennessee wins on Friday, they'll likely play Auburn on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament.

The championship game is set for Sunday afternoon. ESPN and the SEC Network will broadcast each SEC Tournament game.
