Miami QB Cam Ward's pro day details. Where and how to watch potential Titans No. 1 overall pick workout ahead of NFL draft
All eyes in Tennessee are on Cam Ward
NASHVILLE — Miami quarterback Cam Ward is one month away from his NFL future. With the Hurricanes pro day on Monday, the Tennessee Titans will be watching Ward closely as owners of the No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft.
Tennessee's need at the position makes the decision to draft Ward a pretty obvious one.
Ward skipped the throwing drills at this year's NFL Scouting Combine, as did fellow top quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders of Colorado. Citing "five years of film" as his reason, the Miami passer stood to gain anything from participating. Ward's pro day will allow him to punctuate his pre-draft process, should all go to plan.
Here are the details about Ward's pro day:
When is Cam Ward's pro day?
Ward's pro day is set for Monday, March 24.
The Titans, as well as several other NFL clubs, will have a sizable contingent in attendance. It is a near certainty that Ward will be selected with this year's No. 1 overall pick. What still must be determined is whether Tennessee will stick with their current pick, or if another team can still make a compelling enough offer to trade up.
"When you talk to people around the league, the sense is that Cleveland would like Cam Ward," ESPN's Adam Schefter said on Get Up last Thursday morning. "But I think Cam Ward is going to be the number one pick. Unless Cleveland trades up to one, I don't think it's going to get Cam Ward."
The Browns own the No. 2 overall selection this year.
