Chris Henry Jr. is an alien of a wide receiver. The five-star wide receiver has an unbelievable frame and wingspan, already standing 6'5" 195 lbs, giving him an unbelievable upside both in the college ranks, and eventually in the NFL. That frame is rare, and it's undeniable why the top programs are eager to get him in the building.

Henry has been committed to Ohio State since July of 2023, but Oregon has never given up on him. They've had him in house multiple times and continue to work on trying to flip the talented wide receiver from the newly-minted rival Ohio State Buckeyes. The latest news makes it clear that Oregon is still firmly in the race.

Henry has set another official visit to Eugene June 13-15, a week before he returns to visit Ohio State. Henry was in attendance when Oregon beat Ohio State last October, and was at Autzen Stadium when Oregon blew Maryland out 39-18. In an interview with On3, he had plenty of positives to say about the Ducks.

“The atmosphere was crazy at the Maryland game,” Henry told On3. "What keeps taking me back to Oregon is how close I am with the coaches and how they are doing something special there.”

There's no denying that it will take a monumental effort to pry Henry away from Ohio State. His father, the late Chris Henry Sr., played for the Cincinnati Bengals after they drafted him in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Junior was born and raised in Ohio, and has strong ties to the area.

But after being spotted in an Oregon track suit a couple weeks ago, Oregon can't be counted out as a potential suitor for the highly-gifted wide receiver with a strong pedigree.
