Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has a pregame routine that gives a little Aaron Rodgers vibes until he turns on the TV and hits play on his Spotify.

Brown revealed during an appearance on Kickin It with Dee that before games, he locks himself in a pitch-black room, turns on Julio Jones highlights, and listens to "Hometown Glory" by Adele.

“When I get in that mode right before, I'mma watch some Julio [Jones] highlights really quick. First of all, I'm in the room by myself, pitch black, watching Julio, 'cause I'm like 'If he could do it, I can do it,'" Brown said. "But, there's one song 'Hometown Glory' by Adele, and it just takes me there. I'm telling you I don't know what it does. I don't know what it does, it just takes me there."

Adele's "Hometown Glory" is a ballad that celebrates the lasting impact of human connections It declares that the people encountered in one's hometown are the enduring wonders that shape one's life.

It may seem like an odd ritual but it truly is the perfect combination of calming with Adele's voice and motivating with the Jones highlights.

It has also worked out well for the Eagles' star.

Since joining the Eagles via trade from the Tennessee Titans in 2022, Brown has racked up 4,031 yards (4th among NFL wide receivers), 25 touchdowns (ranked seventh), three Pro Bowl nods, an All-Pro honor, and a Super Bowl win.
