The Minnesota Vikings have been an incredibly divisive team to discuss this offseason. Despite general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah putting together one of the best and deepest rosters in the entire National Football League, the Vikings haven't been given enough credit for one reason: J.J. McCarthy hasn't played in an NFL game yet.

How much will that actually matter with where the Vikings currently are? The roster is essentially quarterback-proof and McCarthy is a top 10 pick from the 2024 NFL Draft who has gathered a lot of love throughout a certain section of NFL media.

Kay Adams makes bold claim that Minnesota Vikings will win Super Bowl

With some analysts like Colin Cowherd proclaiming the Vikings will finish fourth in the NFC North, we finally have someone in the national media saying the exact opposite, with Kay Adams saying on her show Up and Adams that the Vikings will win the Super Bowl.

"I think they will win the Super Bowl," said Adams. "I would, too (have more questions about McCarthy than the other second year quarterbacks). And then I met him, and I like, just like a total fan, just fell for him. I met him down in Mayakoba at the NFLPA classic. And I go, Oh, you are, you are a winner. And just how Harrison (Smith) was talking about him like the OGs in that feeling the way he was speaking to me. I bought every stock. I was like, yep, eating it for breakfast. Absolutely."

That's the big thing with McCarthy. When you spend time with him either in person or just by listening to him speak, it's clear that McCarthy has all the juice you could ask for. He can zip the ball with every throw in the book along with having the right mentality to thrive as the starting quarterback.

You can overlook the Vikings if you want, but they are set to prove you wrong this year.
