Following Kellen Moore's first NFL Draft class as a head coach, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the offseason unfolds for his team.

Saints will add another wide receiver in free agency

It is hard for me to imagine that New Orleans does not add another pass catcher in free agency. They already brought back Brandin Cooks, but they need more size. The Saints chose to not address the WR position with their picks in the draft.

Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, Tyler Boyd, and DJ Chark are among the free agent options that provide more size than most of the receivers currently on the roster for the Saints.

In previous seasons, Moore has run an offense that uses at least one bigger wideout, so I would be surprised if he doesn't look to add more talent at that spot for whoever is playing QB in week 1. Keep in mind that roster cuts could add more talent to the free agency pool for New Orleans.

Linebacker position is set for the start of the season

After drafting Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman, I truly think that LB is no longer a position to worry about for New Orleans. Stutsman can be a role player as a rookie, and his impact on special teams could be massive this season.

Regardless, adding him to the depth chart added another challenge for players like Nephi Sewell, D'Marco Jackson, Jaylan Ford, and Anfernee Orji. Those four options are all still fairly young and have shown glimpses of good play at times over the past two years.

That being said, there is a new regime in the building, led by Brandon Staley, for the team's defense. They have no strong ties to those depth linebackers. I do not believe that Stutsman is automatically behind them to start camp or the preseason due to prior beliefs for their futures.

We'll see if they make any veterans adds at linebacker, but New Orleans should look elsewhere to add talent, in my opinion.
