Now that we are past the NFL Draft, the focus has shifted primarily toward the 2025 season. There are plenty of different storylines we can look at going into rookie minicamp and OTAs, including second year quarterback J.J. McCarthy taking the reins for the first time.

During this dead period, there are plenty of things to occupy the time and the discussions surrounding the team. Luckily, the Vikings have given us a gift to help us get through the offseason.

Vikings to debut feature on Joe Webb

One of the more interesting players over the last 25 years for the Vikings was quarterback Joe Webb. Because of that, the Vikings are releasing a feature on their YouTube channel that debuts on Wednesday, May 7th at noon.

The 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Webb wasn't even announced as a quarterback. He was announced as a wide receiver after having played quarterback at UAB. The Vikings gave him a chance to play quarterback in rookie minicamp and he took advantage of it tenfold.

Webb was moved to quarterback for the Vikings and was an electric player. He had a very interesting and fun career that included just two starts at quarterback during the regular season, and one in the playoffs. His first start came on a fateful Tuesday night in 2010 with a 24-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is likely going to be an electric video, as all Webb did was be electric over his career with the Vikings, even though it was in limited quantity.
