The Minnesota Vikings are firmly in the course of the offseason. They just completed free agency and the NFL Draft with rookie minicamp coming up next weekend. With all of that in mind, the focus has shifted firmly to projecting out the 2025 season.
The Vikings aren't thought of that highly across the league, ranking as low as 18th in NFL Power Rankings across the league. A lot of that has to do with J.J. McCarthy as the starting quarterback. Sure, he hasn't started a game, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of playing well with a stacked roster from top to bottom.
Minnesota Vikings announce numbers for incoming rookies and veterans
There are going to be plenty of non-believers out there, mainly due to the lack of real knowledge about the franchise. They will figure it out in time, especially with Kevin O'Connell's track record in maximizing quarterbacks.
The other element that's important, at least for the fanbase, is the announcement of numbers for all the incoming players. Fans will want to get the jersey of the first round pick left guard Donovan Jackson. Luckily, his jersey number, along with numerous others, was revealed on Friday morning courtesy of the Vikings' website.
