The Los Angeles Chargers may get some tough news regarding one of their top defensive pieces sometime this offseason.
Khalil Mack unsure about NFL future
According to Adam Schefter, the Chargers' star pass rusher doesn't know if he will continue playing.
"Man, it's a lot of different thoughts in my head right now. I can't really speak on a definitive decision in terms of what I'm going to do because I don't know if I'm going to play football moving forward, so there's some things I gotta talk through with my wife, spend some time with my kids and try not to make a rash decision after a loss." — Khalil Mack
An exciting first season under Jim Harbaugh came to a crashing halt for Mack and the Chargers in their 32-12 loss to the Texans this past weekend. Neither the defense or offense played well for LA.
Mack said that he doesn't have a timeline for when he will make the decision, but that he still believes his best chance to win is with the Chargers.

Chargers star safety Derwin James has also been trying to convince Mack to return next season. There's clearly a hope inside the locker room that he isn't done yet.

If Mack does retire, there will be a notable hole left at the edge position for Los Angeles. Only time will tell for the long-time NFL Pro Bowl defender.
