The Kansas City Chiefs' chance of three-peat is within reach.
The playoffs are set to begin, and the Chiefs have the first-round bye, already earning a spot in the divisional round.
Nobody likes to bet against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs when it comes to playoffs, and that includes Tom Brady.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion released his final top 5 power ranking prior to the playoffs, and the Chiefs earned the top spot.
"Of course, the top spot in my power rankings goes to the Kansas City Chiefs," Brady said. "Another incredible season from Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. They won a franchise record 15 games. And how about Spags' defense ranking top 5 in scoring for the second year in a row.
"Can KC become the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls? I can't wait to find out."
Behind the Chiefs, Brady had the Detroit Lions in second, the Buffalo Bills in third, the Philadelphia Eagles in fourth, and the Minnesota Vikings in fifth.
While some may think that the Chiefs going in so high could be the kiss of death, Brady knows better than anybody that you can't bet against the best. Mahomes in the regular season is already dangerous.
But Mahomes in the playoffs has proven time and time again to be unstoppable.
So Brady, along with the rest of Chiefs Kingdom, are excited to see what Mahomes and the other members of the Kansas City squad can do in the playoffs.
Plus, despite not having seven Super Bowls (yet), Mahomes can manage to get the three-peat, which is something Brady never could accomplish.
