With the 2024 regular season coming to a close, the Pittsburgh Steelers' home and away opponents for the 2025 NFL season have been finalized.
The 2025 NFL schedule will not officially be revealed until mid-May, which means we don’t have all the details on dates and times for these matchups. However, now that the winners of various AFC and NFC divisions have been determined, the Steelers’ opponents for the upcoming season are officially set in stone.

2025 Away Opponents:

Observations:
The 2025 season features eight games against two divisions the Steelers haven't seen in a few years. That would be the AFC East, and the NFC North. While 2025 is liley to be entirely different, these two division were polar opposites in 2024.
The Bills ran away with the AFC east in 24', with little fight from the Dolphins, Jets, or Patriots. Miami and New York could be in the middle of transition while the Patriots will likey be in their second year of a rebuild with new QB Drake Maye.
As for the NFC North however, that might be the best division in all of football. The Vikings and Lions are the top two teams in the NFC and the Packers are a playoff team with one of the youngest rosters in all of the league.
And while Chiacgo didn't have the 2024 they envisioned, they still have Caleb Williams and will likely be pairing him with one of the brightest offensive minds in the sport as his new HC.
The remaining games will feature matchups with the Colts, Seahawks and Chargers.
Will the Steelers play an international game in 2025?
While the NFL has yet to officially announce any international games, the Steelers are reportedly heading back to the homeland of the Rooneys. All signs point to a regular season game in Ireland, with Pittsburgh rumored to take on the Packers in the land of green.
“The Rooney's immigrated from Ireland back in the 1800s,” Steelers owner and team president Art Rooney II said to Sky Sports back in September. “There’s a long history, a long connection. On my mother’s side, my grandparents came over back in the 1920s, so a lot of relatives are still over in Ireland. I go back and visit them from time to time, and of course, my father wound up being the Ambassador to Ireland for a while. A lot of deep connections for us over there…
