A former Tennessee Vols wide receiver is reportedly heading to the Big 10.

According a report from On3's Pete Nakos, Vols transfer wide receiver Nathan Leacock has signed with Purdue.

Leacock is a former four-star recruit from Raleigh, NC who signed with Tennessee during the 2023 recruiting cycle. He was rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 13 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 76 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class.

Despite being a highly rated player coming out of Millbrook High School, Leacock was never able to earn a significant role in Tennessee's offense.

The North Carolina native finished his Tennessee career with just one reception for 13 yards.

Leacock, however, still has the potential to become a solid wide receiver. The 6-foot-3/217 lb receiver will continue his development at Purdue under new Boilermakers head coach Barry Odom and offensive coordinator Josh Henson.

Oddly enough, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel worked under Odom at Missouri for two seasons (2016 and 2017). Heupel was actually hired by Odom to replace Henson (Odom didn't retain Henson when he was promoted to head coach at Missouri in 2016).
