One of the deepest position groups on the 2025 Senior Bowl roster is running back. 

While Ashton Jeanty and a few other notable RBs won't be in attendance, there are still multiple players with legitimate potential to become a starting NFL RB. Below, you will see all the RBs set to participate in the event, as well as a few players I think are especially poised for a big week of practice. 

Running Backs to watch at the 2025 Senior Bowl

LeQuint Allen, Syracuse 

Syracuse's LeQuint Allen is coming off the best year of his three-year college career. He rushed for a career-high 16 touchdowns, which led the ACC, and also added four receiving touchdowns, which brings his total to 20, which also led the ACC. His ability as a pass catcher makes him stand out. He led all FBS RBs with 64 receptions and turned them into 521 yards.

I expect Allen to put his pass-catching ability on full display during Senior Bowl practices. I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see him participate in some WR drills on top of RB during the week. So, if your team is looking for a dual-threat RB who can be a true difference-maker in the passing game, Allen should be one of the top players they consider in this class. 

Cam Skattebo, Arizona State

Cameron Skattebo is coming off a fantastic season where he led the Big 12 with 293 rushing attempts and 1,711 yards. He finished the year on a heater by rushing for at least 140 yards and two touchdowns in each of Arizona State's final four games. 

Skattebo showed himself to be on of the best RBs in the country this season. His skill set projects him as a potential three-down back at the pro level. If he can put together a strong week of practice in Mobile, he could catapult himself into the consideration to be one of the first RBs in this class to hear their name called come April. 

Damien Martinez, Miami

Miami's Damien Martinez is an excellent option if an NFL team is looking for a hard-nosed power back. Martinez runs angrily and hardly ever goes down to the first defender to come in contact. He finished his first season with Miami by rushing for 1,002 yards and ten touchdowns. He became the first Hurricane RB to rush for over 1,000 yards since 2016. 

This week, Martinez will want to show off his strength at the RB position, but I think he will be able to shock some people as well. I think people sleep on Marinez's overall speed at the RB position, and he will get the chance to show NFL teams that he can be a complete back at the pro level.
