Former Denver Broncos fan favorite chooses the right side in the Kansas City Chiefs – referee discourse

The Kansas City Chiefs have really made it. You know you have made it when everyone but your own fan base is against you. And, for no real reason, either, but the fact that everyone is tired of you winning, and you winning big time. And the fact that you're always on national TV for everyone to see your every move certainly doesn't help either.
The officiating has been bad this year, in Chiefs games — this is a fact, but it has also been bad league-wide. The calls that you saw on Saturday when the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans were not that crazy. In fact, some of them were pretty bang-bang, or toss-ups, if you ask me and anyone else who isn't biased against the Chiefs.
That's what happens when you become a dynasty. That's what happened to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and that's what's happened to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, does Mahomes get some special treatment every now and then for flopping, or doing this little late get-out-of-bounds thing? Yes. But, he knows it's going to work for him so why not do it? And how come Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills does it and it's smart, but Mahomes does it and it's bad?
These are the things a dynasty has to deal with. But, at least there are some smart people out there — even some that used to be the Chiefs' biggest enemies. Guys like former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib are picking a side — the right side.
I’m Broncos Country 4Life!!! BUT this Chiefs hate is getting out of hand!!! If you hit the QB in his head, it’s a flag! No matter your intentions! And please don’t say they didn’t touch his head.
If a guy who hit hard, played with some grit and absolutely hated the Chiefs can take some bias out of it and say that it was roughing the passer, then it should be pretty easy to see.
