Dolphins land Penn State TE Tyler Warren in a new mock draft

"I debated about an offensive lineman here for the Dolphins, but the more I thought about this pick, the more I really wanted the Dolphins to do something different. Why not? Let's give them a playmaker to help open up their offense.
Tyler Warren is a do-it-all playmaker (quite literally, what can't he do) who carried the Penn State offense to a playoff semifinal appearance. He's an elite athlete with good blocking ability and alignment versatility. Let Mike McDaniel get creative with him."
– New A to Z Sports mock draft
Tyler Warren is coming off an incredible season at Penn State, where he set new career highs across the board with 104 receptions, 1,233 yards, and eight touchdowns. Warren was the engine that made the Nittany Lions' offense go in 2024, and he did it multiple ways. He even added 218 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 26 attempts.
Warren would give the Dolphins a fantastic weapon to either soften the blow of Tyreek Hill's departure or could form a fantastic trio along with Jaylen Waddle. I'm sure there are some fans who still have some questions about whether they can be true contenders with Tagovailoa under center. Adding a TE like Warren should be able to help get the most out of their QB, and if they can't compete next year, they might have their answer.
