Miles Killebrew replaces Brenden Schooler at 2024-2025 Pro Bowl
Steelers special teams ace Miles Killebrew has been named to the Pro Bowl Games.
This is the second straight year that Killebrew will participate in the Pro Bowl Games, after he was selected to the games last year.
Killebrew, the Steelers special teams captain, had 13 special teams tackles, eight of them solo stops, which was tied for ninth most in the NFL this year.
Killebrew has blocked three punts since signing with the Steelers in 2021, and four blocked punts in his career. Since he signed with the Steelers in 2021, he ranks first in blocked punts in the NFL with three. He also ranks 10th in the NFL in special teams solo tackles during his time with the Steelers with 24 and 19th in total snaps on special teams with 1,239.

One of the best players in his role in the NFL, it's a worthy accolade for the nine-year NFL veteran. Schooler of the New England Patriots was the first pick, but he is unable to participate as he rehabs an injury.
Killebrew will join Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Chris Boswell at the games in Orlando, Florida next week.
"A lot of us want to be really good at what we do," said defensive coordinator Teryl Austin. "Minkah, he is a perfectionist. He is always searching for perfection, and it doesn't matter what it is. It doesn't matter if you were playing him in checkers, he is going to try and be perfect and beat you every time. If you are playing golf, and he never golfed, he will try and beat you. That is just how he is wired. That makes him a little different."
