The San Francisco 49ers held workouts for four offensive linemen on Monday as they deal with injury issues at the tackle position.

All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams is showing no sign of being ready to return from the ankle injury that has kept him out of the last four games. Austen Pleasants, David Sharpe, Zach Johnson, and Jaylen Mayfield all held workouts as the team evaluated some potential options at the position.

Jaylon Moore has filled in admirably for the future Hall of Famer, but he was not seen during the 49ers' bonus practice on Monday ahead of San Francisco's Week 16 game with the Miami Dolphins.

With right tackle Colton McKivitz and Sebastian Gutierrez seemingly the only two healthy tackles on the 53-man roster, the 49ers have, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, signed Pleasants to the practice squad.

Pleasants joins Isaac Alarcon among the tackles on the practice squad. An undrafted free agent in 2020, Pleasants has only played two games in his NFL career, one at tackle for the Carolina Panthers and another at guard for the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 49ers could also use guard Spencer Burford at tackle if needed. Burford played tackle in college at UTSA.
