The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for their toughest test of the year on Sunday.
Traveling across the state to take on an Eagles team that has won nine straight, it's well known that the team will likely be without star WR George Pickens.
But in the biggest practice day of the week it was much of the same following a concerning report from Wednesday:
Steelers Week 15 Injury Report (THU)
Observations
- George Pickens: After being a surprise scratch last week against the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers made the right call with Pickens. HC Mike Tomlin told the media on Tuesday that Pickens has a grade 2 hamstring strain via an MRI. That has cast doubt not only on his availability for this week's game, but the entire stretch of three contests in 11 days for Pittsburgh
- DeShon Elliott: An absolute tone-setter in the secondary, Pittsburgh is going to need Elliott to slow down RB Saquon Barkley and arguably the league's best rushing attack. Missing back-to-back days is never a good, with Friday serving as a final determinant in his availability
- Larry Ogunjobi: The big man left Sunday's game in the first half and didn't return, nursing a groin injury and yet another soft tissue issue in Pittsburgh. Larry O often frequents the report, but this one may be a touch more serious as he missed both Wednesday and Thursday in totality
