Tennessee Vols fans saw their "plans" for the goalposts at the Horseshoe go viral this week ahead of UT's first-round College Football Playoff matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Vols will travel to Columbus on December 21 to take on the Buckeyes. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals where they'll take on the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl.
Plenty of Tennessee fans are expected to make the trip to Columbus for the game. And some of those fans have already mapped out the route they plan to take the goalposts in Ohio Stadium if the Volunteers are able to get the win.
Here's the "map" of the goalpost route that went viral.

Vols fans are experts at getting goalposts out of a stadium and into a river (as we learned in 2022 after Tennessee's thrilling 52-49 win against Alabama), so it's no surprise that there's already a planned route.
I doubt there will be enough Vols fans in Columbus to storm the field and tear down the goalposts. But based on what we've seen from Tennessee fans over the years, I wouldn't put past the Vols fan base to find a way to kidnap Ohio State's goalposts and toss them into the river in the event that UT pulls off the upset win.
