The Denver Broncos have been one of the best stories in the NFL this season.

After multiple years of seemingly lacking direction, the team is just one win away from clinching a spot in the AFC playoffs. The solid play from rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been a major reason the team took this step forward. So, this offseason will be about how to better build this offense around their young QB.

In a new A to Z Sports mock draft, the Broncos added a talented player at the tight end position, which would greatly help Nix's development.

"There are a host of teams that need tight end help, and the Broncos are one of them. Getting quarterback Bo Nix a consistent target in the middle of the field would be huge. Loveland is not only an inviting target, but is also a really clean separator at the position."

New A to Z Sports mock draft

The TE class in the 2025 NFL Draft class is already exciting to a lot of people around the NFL. There is a real debate on who the top TE to be taken will be. Some lean more towards Tyler Warren out of Penn State, and some think Michigan's Colston Loveland. There's even a group that has fallen in love with Bowling Green's Harold Fannin, who just had a historic season.

While all have a solid argument, Loveland likely has the highest floor of the three players and honestly was held back in college by Michigan not leaning more into their passing game over the past two seasons. Loveland would come in day one and start for the Broncos and would likely become one of Bo Nix's top targets along with star wide receiver Cortland Sutton. If Nix is going to take another step forward as a player, this is the type of move the Broncos need to make to support him properly and put him in a position to succeed. So if one of the top TEs is on the board when they are on the clock, it needs to be seriously considered as a top option for their selection.
