Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence sent a message to fans after the being carted off on Sunday.

Lawrence was sliding when he took a late and hard hit from Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair. The quarterback was taken straight to the locker room and ruled out with a concussion shortly after.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out / been praying for me. I’m home and feeling better. Means a lot, thank you all 🙌🏻," Lawrence posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Following the play, Jaguars tight end Evan Engram went after Al-Shaair for the dirty hit. And afterwards, players from both teams got involved, resulting in a scuffle.

Engram was not thrown out, but his teammate, CB Jarrian Jones, was tossed.

Al-Shaair was also ejected from the game due to the unnecessary roughness penalty. He was taken off the field by security, as he was seen having words with Jaguars fans on the way off the field.

Prior to the injury, Lawrence was 4-of-10 for 41 yards and one interception.

There is currently no information on Lawrence's exact condition and when he will be back.
