While Cashman didn't officially return to practice, head coach Kevin O'Connell did say that he would be working on a side field which was described as a "full allotment." The return of Cashman would be massive for the Vikings, especially with their pass defense. Ivan Pace Jr. was targeted multiple times against the Los Angeles Rams and it was one of the deciding factors in the game on Thursday night.

There were two new names that we hadn't seen on the injury report before in Taimani and Quessenberry. They were both limited with lower leg injuries. Taimani has been getting around 10 snaps per game as a run defender and that role could grow on Sunday night with Jonathan Taylor in the backfield.

Hockenson will play on Sunday night but his inclusion feels more procedural than anything. O'Connell also said that Risner was ready to go as well.

Thursday and Friday will be crucial in terms of seeing if Cashman will be ready to go.
