Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Bryce Huff finally logged his first sack of the season in the team's 28-3 win over the New York Giants, but it cost him.
Huff was fined a whopping $16,883 for a roughing the passer call after tackling Giants quarterback Daniel Jones below the knees.
No other Eagles were fined during the game.
Huff finished the win logging five pressures to go along with his sack, marking his best game of the season.
Through six games so far, Huff has totaled six tackles and 1.5 sacks, both of his sacks have come in the last two matchups.
Huff has been under scrutiny this fall for his lack of pressures and sacks after the Eagles spent good money on him in free agency and signed him to a three-year, $51.1 million deal.
Hopefully, he can keep up the solid production heading into Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals — this time without it costing him.
Bengals HC Zac Taylor refuses to compare Eagles WR DeVonta Smith to anyone else in the NFL
The ultimate compliment.
