While the NFC North has been great, only the Vikings have done one important thing

The Minnesota Vikings are 5-0 on the season and lead the NFC North, which is 17-5. The NFC North is the only division in the National Football League where all four teams have winning records because there has been just one game within the division. The Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 31-29 in that game.
Outside of that one game within the division, the four teams in the NFC North have a winning percentage of 0.800 but their opponents don't share the same success.
Vikings have accomplished something no one else has
The Vikings are currently the only team in the NFC North who has beaten a team with a winning record. They have beaten both the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans while the San Francisco 49ers are sitting at 0.500.
That is a key distinction. The rest of the division has beaten 3-3 teams but they haven't beaten a team with a winning record. All three have faced teams with a winning record.
- Bears: 0-1
- Lions: 0-1
- Packers: 0-2
Is this a huge deal right now? Not really, especially since the season is only six weeks in. However, it is a leg up for the Vikings. They have done a great job against teams with winning records this season and beaten them with relative ease, something Vikings teams in recent memory hasn't done.
Now, will this keep up? Who knows, but it's not something to ignore.
